There are no toilets on the station. I don’t know how this building is allowed to function, with thousands of people moving in and out without such basic necessity. Forget about healthy food or drink options, or cleanliness for that matter.

Avoid the money changer in the train station. Total ripped off. There are alot of money changers at the town.

Kelenföld Vasútállomás is a convenient and well-connected station. Ticket purchasing is easy for travelers, and access to trains and public transport is excellent, making it a practical hub for commuting around Budapest.

The M4 metro line is modern, clean, and very convenient. One of the coolest features is that the trains are fully driverless, which makes the ride feel futuristic. You can stand at the very front of the train and look through the window to watch the tunnel and the track ahead as the metro moves – it’s a unique and enjoyable experience, especially if you like transit systems. The stations are well-designed, easy to navigate, and the trains are smooth and quiet. Overall, the M4 is one of the best parts of public transport in Budapest.
