I am still having a terrible experience with this rental car! please be aware and don't rent with them! 3 months ago they took the deposit and until today August 25, I have still without received back the deposit, around 800 euros! .. they gave me for the last couple of weeks different answers! without any sense! and now they confirmed that the money is in my account since July 10th! but it's not true. The worst is that they are trying to change the history saying that I want the money back twice! how can they dare to treat me like that? Even by phone are absolute despots and they mistreat me! First of all they never had to make that issue taking the money from my credit card, they can block the amount no taken, in this case, they stole it! They reply my last review saying that all is good! But it's not true and probably they will do the same with this comment! don't trust in them! I rented a car many times in different countries and this is by far the worst experience! I know I won't have my money back! so this is more to aware to other people! if you read more reviews I am not the only one with this problem! Even they never try to give me compensation nothing, just bad words! WOR

Like many others I saw renting cars from Koala, we too had the same type of 5-star experience. We needed vehicle for a quick daytrip out to go see some ruins, and Koala gave us a perfect vehicle for our needs at an affordable price. The process was simple, the staff super helpful, and the location was super easy for us to get in and out of. We'll definitely rent from them again.

Rented a Kia Ceed from Koala Autorent to go from Budapest to Belgrade, super friendly staff and the whole process took no longer than 20 minutes to get the car. very honest people who i will rent from again!

Great car rental company, I get brand new car with 17000 km on clock. Guys who works in Koala are really easy going. I was renting car for trip to Ukraine, I was thinking that it will be difficult to arrange, but no problem at all, only they cant give my full insurance cover, because roads in Ukraine are horrible, but I manage to bring car back in one peace 😃. Also I was worried about hight deposit 200000 huf , but I dont have any issues with getting it back. I want to say thanks to Koala for great experience, I will be back 😉

Great experience with Koala rent! New car in great condition. Full tank. Very effective and smooth communication, even when i had some last minute changes. Also pick up and drop off from the airport was very easy, no more then 15 min waiting. Overall i am very happy with the transaction with Koala. Now i know where to go when i need a car in Budapest :)
