What a disappointing experience. What a bad quality food. Only ordered 4 starters. I would expect that nowadays when we afford going to a restaurant to have at least fresh products on the plate, but this wasn’t the case. All ingredients were OLD and the plates were in a very bad state - I don’t care about presentation that much, but also by tasting the food, one could tell it is getting spoiled. What happened to restaurant prices and food quality? We deserve better.

I have never left a negative review for a restaurant, but it was such a negative experience that I feel like I should. We visited a couple of week's ago. My partner booked beforehand after seeing lots of good reviews and being intrigued by the decor/drawing on tables gimmick. Once seated, we were effectively ignored by the staff. There was one server working, but two other people, either friends of the server or other staff, were also in the restaurant, and the server spent her time seated with these people. We were given no pencils for drawing and we were only spoken to to have our order taken. We eventually asked for the bill because the server made no attempt to clear our plates. Part of the reason we visited is because there was supposedly a decent choice for vegetarians, which was not the case. There was one option, vegetable moussaka, which was fine at best. My partner had the duck, which was better apparently. We were just made to feel incredibly unwelcome and it really spoilt our evening.

Although the restaurant does not make an impression from the outside, we had a very good dinner here and the quality of food was great! The menu also has a very good selection of dishes.

Super special meal in Budapest, perfect for date night or a bestie date. The restaurant was so unique and sweet. Every course was impeccable and I am still thinking about the crème caramel fois gras and the spätzle . Loved this gourmet Hungarian/ French fusion. Was definitely the highlight of my visit to Budapest as a foodie. Should be on the Michelin guide imo

My girlfriend and I had booked a table for New Year’s Eve dinner. Due to an unexpected snowstorm (which we weren’t aware of as we were in our hotel), we arrived about 15 minutes late since we were walking. When we got there, despite the extremely small space (we were clearly in the way in the tiny entrance area), the staff pretended not to see us. After more than five minutes of being ignored, I stopped the woman who appeared to be the owner and told her we had a reservation. She checked in an annoyed manner and told us that, since we were late, they thought we weren’t coming anymore. She added that the table was still available, but we would need to wait another 10 minutes. So we waited. After at least another 15 minutes, a different staff member came over and told us they were unable to manage our reservation and that they wouldn’t be able to seat us, essentially asking us to leave. She justified this by saying we were 25 minutes late (which was not true — we arrived less than 15 minutes late, and the remaining time was spent waiting for them) and that New Year’s Eve is a “busy night.” I believe the way we were treated was unacceptable. Before giving away a table after just 10
