Restaurants in Hungary usually open from around 11:00 until about 22:00, while bars and ruin bars stay open much later from Thursday to Saturday. On weekdays many places serve a napi menü, a fixed-price lunch of soup and a main course, typically from 11:00 to 15:00. Book a table for Friday and Saturday evenings and public holidays. Many bills already include a service charge (usually 10–15%); if not, a tip of around 10% is customary but never compulsory. Many restaurants also accept the SZÉP card, the employer-funded leisure card. Burger bars often take orders online or through delivery apps. Queues are longest at weekday lunchtimes, so ordering ahead saves time.

Published opening hours: daily, 11:30–22:00. It opens every day of the week. It opens on Sunday too, as many restaurants and cafés in Hungary do. Hours can differ on public holidays and long weekends, so check before you go. The listed phone number is +36 20 338 5392. It is shown in international format with the +36 country code, so it works from Hungary and from abroad alike; within Hungary you can also dial 06 instead of +36. Its website is merakigreekgoods.hu, where you may find prices, details of what it offers or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 181 reviews, a score that reflects consistently positive feedback.

I was walking down the street and smelled something delicious. Bumped into that place and didn’t regret.

Was an alright gyro, the reason they have so many good reviews is because you get a free iced tea with your review. I would recommend only if you NEED gyros otherwise I think you can find something a bit better. The cheese squeaked a ton as well attached is a photo.

Good but not great. Wonderful that they offer veg alternatives. I had the seitan gyros - with tzatziki and eggplant sauce. The seitan was a bit boring, and the flavour overall a bit plain. The chips felt a bit like fried mashed potato sticks. Apparently, the Spartan chicken/halloumi one was worth a 4 score. Ingredients otherwise felt fresh, and the bread nice and warm. Overall nice but a bit impersonal ambiance. Friendly service. Overall pretty good value for money.

I had their special gyro for 1900 HUF. It’s great quick meal and it’s delicious. I got to choose two sauces and they were really good! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommended.
