About Páli Szent Vince Plébánia és Templom

A Gát utcai templomból indul meg az 1923-ban megalapított plébánia élete. 1930-ban a Haller téri piac területén a főváros telket jelöl ki. Telekkönyvezteti azzal a kikötéssel, hogy az ingatlan kizárólag templom és plébánia céljait szolgálhatja. Itt épül Dr. Fábián Gáspár műépítész tervei szerint 1935–36-ban, az előzményekre visszatekintve, Páli Szent Vince tiszteletére a kereszthajós, neoromán plébániatemplom (1260 m2), amelyet Serédi Jusztinián hercegprímás 1936. október 18-án szentel fel. A plébániaház 1938-ra készül el. A plébánia területén volt a Zita barakk-lakótelep és a Kiserdőnek nevezett, hírhedt nyomortelep. A templomhoz urnatemető és osszárium is tartozik. Búcsú: szeptember 27.

Nagyon szép neoromán stílusban épült templom, plébániája jelenleg felújítás alatt van. H,P 18 órakor K reggel 7 órakor misék, szerdán 17 órától Szentségimádás, ez idő alatt látogatható a templom. Vasárnap általában két mise van 9 és 11 órai kezdettel. Nyáron július -augusztus hónapban csak 10 órakor. István atya prédikációi kiválóak mindenki számára érthetőek. Urnás és szórásos temetkezési lehetőség is van.

Páli Szent Vince templom a Mester utca és Haller utca találkozásánál a IX. kerületben. A neoromán stílusú templom 1936-ban épült fel Fábián Gáspár tervei alapján.

It's located in a quite interesting area and the park surrounding it is not particularly well taken care of but I like the construction itself It was under reconstruction when I visited, but this at least have me the opportunity to have a peak inside. Will probably be a very inviting church when they finish up

A peaceful church on the verge of the park, at the crossing of big trafficated streets. It stands in its beauty and it enriches the surroundings. I found it open only on a Sunday and finally got the opportunity to enter and enjoy the cozy and tidy atmosphere.

Very old and very nice church is a place to visit when you come to Hungary there's a beautiful oleo that is a patrimony of the state is a true relic and is very valuable, this church is full of history, the pastor is father Isvan.
