An interesting find in Budapest, unfortunately closed at the time of my visit

Szent Ciril és Szent Metód, Bolgár Pravoszláv, Ortodox templom a Vágóhíd utcában, IX. kerület, Ferencváros. A templom 1932-ben épült a magyarországi bolgárok adományaiból, Árkay Aladár neves magyar építész tervei alapján. Különlegessége, hogy a magyar főváros egyetlen Bizánci stílusú épülete. Több kiemelkedő bulgáriai templom, köztük a híres szófiai Alekszander Nevszki-székesegyház és a Bacskovói kolostor-templom alapján. Árkay Aladár háromhajós, bizánci alaprajzú, kupolás imaházat tervezett, mely Budapest egyetlen bizánci stílusú épülete.

Műemlék Szent Cirill és Szent Metód görög fivérek. A szláv népek apostolai. Felekezete Magyar Ortodox Bolgár egyház Építése 1930 - 1931 években Tervezője Árkai Aladár Csodálatos építmény. Bolgár Pravoszláv templom Európa szívében.
