An excellent and authentic experience! The staff is exceptionally friendly, approachable, and communicative, and the service is fast and professional. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing, without being noisy or overcrowded. We found this restaurant by chance, but we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place in Budapest!

Piroska Vendéglő still leans heavily into its old-school charm - interiors full of vintage artifacts that actually feel authentic rather than staged. The food does most of the work here. The pork tenderloin served on a stone looks impressive, even if the stone itself clearly skipped the "hot" part. Luckily, the meat makes up for it - well-cooked, tender, and flavorful. The beef stew in an enamel pot is the safer bet: rich, hearty, and exactly what you expect from proper Hungarian comfort food👍 Presentation is solid without trying to be fancy, and the flavors hold up where it matters. Service is efficient and genuinely friendly👌 Overall, a very atmospheric place where not everything is executed perfectly, but the food is strong enough that you’re not leaving disappointed.

Hi lovely people! Hands up for the lady who served us this weekend. She had the patience to explain amd take us through the menu as we are very fussy people. With a big smile and a great costumer service she complete the whole experience in this restaurant. The soup 10 out of 10🫡the beef stew wasn't what I expected but the taste was incredible and the meat very well done 👏 5 stars and definitely you should go there if you re in Budapest. The place is vintage and nice!
