A small local restaurant, away from the loudness and touristy city center. We had a chill lunch there. I tried Grilled Chicken with Ratatouille rice it was really nice. Employees were friendly.

Ok, I really hesitate to post this because this place is a hidden gem. It has traditional Hungarian food, quick and great service. The gulyas was delicious, the fözelek with stew was delicious. It seemed to be mainly neighbor folks & some students.,

Small family restaurant with old school Hungarian kitchen. Soup, main dish, coffe, drink and dessert costed eur 28.

This was our favourite meal on our five day trip in Budapest. The restaurant is nestled in a quiet residential area so we sat outside and it was beyond lovely. Great food, great staff. I was after a local Hungarian restaurant experience that was off the beaten tourist path and this definitely checked that box. Hope to be back!

We stopped here for lunch. The service was fantastic and no issues with ordering in English. One of our favorite meals in Budapest - the cottage cheese pasta and beef stew were specifically delicious. Excellent coffee service after the meal and dessert crepes as well. Highly recommended for a great Hungarian style meal.
