The Széchenyi Children’s Railway (Gyermekvasút) is one of Budapest’s most unique attractions and definitely worth a visit. The journey through the beautiful Buda Hills takes almost an hour to reach the final station, with plenty of stunning forest views along the way. On a sunny day, the scenery is especially impressive. What makes this railway truly special is that many of the operational duties are carried out by children under adult supervision, which makes the experience both fun and fascinating. The trains are well maintained, the staff are friendly, and the whole trip has a charming, nostalgic atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting with family or simply want a relaxing ride through nature, it’s a memorable experience that I’d highly recommend.

Jak dla mnie to najlepsza atrakcja w Budapeszcie. Obsługa prowadzona przez dzieci pod opieką dorosłych. Trasa przebiega obrzeżach góry, po drodze tunel. Wszytko pięknie zadbane i utrzymane. Jak dla mnie to pięć gwiazdek to za mało!

Nagyon jó! Mindenkinek ajánlom, felnőtteknek, gyerekeknek. Jó a levegő, szépek a fényezései a mozdonyoknak, kocsiknak. A gyerekek becsületesek. Csoportoknak is megfelelő, de egyénileg is jól látogatható, szép a kilátás.
