We visited this charming little brunch café during our stay in Budapest and had a mixed, but overall positive experience. The food was genuinely delicious and clearly prepared with care. The baked eggs, fresh omelet, crispy pastry, excellent coffee, and beautiful presentation showed that the kitchen pays attention to quality rather than quantity. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. However, our breakfast took almost one hour to arrive. Unfortunately, a group of 11 people had arrived before us, and it seemed that the kitchen was focused entirely on serving that table first. During that time, almost no other orders were being prepared. This revealed what appears to be the café’s biggest challenge: limited capacity when the restaurant gets busy. If several larger groups arrive at once, the waiting time can become quite long. That said, the staff remained polite and professional throughout, and it was clear that everyone was doing their best. Rather than rushing dishes out, they seem committed to maintaining the quality of the food they serve. If you are not in a hurry and appreciate freshly prepared brunch, this place is definitely

For a long time, this place has been one of my favorite brunch spots in Budapest; we try to go 2-3 times a month. It's a vegan and vegetarian-friendly establishment that blends breakfast, an important part of Turkish culture, with other cuisines. I love all their products, and whenever I go in, I feel like I'm in Türkiye, it really has a beautiful ambiance. The staff are very friendly and really helpful. It's also a very clean and meticulous establishment in terms of hygiene. Our favorites are the Turkish eggs, potato gözleme (Turkish flatbread), and baklava pancakes! I also love their kombucha! We are so lucky to have such a good and high-quality place in Budapest! 🧿🩵 P.S: When the owner heard it was my birthday, she treated me to baklava pancakes and celebrated my birthday. I was both surprised and delighted. It really showed how right we were to choose this place! ♥️

I’m a regular at The Garden Cafe and it’s one of my favorite brunch spots in the city. I almost always order the Turkish eggs (Cilbir) and add grilled mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes - the sourdough is always super fresh and warm, and the plating is honestly gorgeous. The whole place has an artistic touch. Every plate and mug is handmade by a talented ceramic artist, which makes the experience feel really special. I also love that they have seasonal in-house fermented drinks like kombucha (which is rare) and a great selection of natural wines. The owner and the whole team are always so down-to-earth and fun, which makes the atmosphere even better. It’s the kind of place where you want to hangout for hours - beautiful food, thoughtful details, and a relaxed, creative vibe. I keep coming back.

Gorgeous cafe with delicious breakfast options including an unusual poached egg dish in a chilli yoghurt sauce topped with dill. Wonderful service with the friendliest of waitresses. Loved the chilled music too. A very happy, caring place with wonderful people. So good we went back twice. Thank you. You made my day with your generous spirit.
