I spent a long time looking for a yoga studio where I would enjoy practicing regularly, and then I found Shala Buda. The teachers are very skilled, the atmosphere is always welcoming and supportive, and one thing I really love is that there are classes for different levels and different styles of yoga. Timea often teaches themed classes and helps students towards more challenging asanas. She always explains the correct technique patiently and clearly. Agnes’s intermediate Krama yoga class is one of my favorites because her classes really challenge and strengthen me in the best way. I would also highly recommend Maya, who always brings a little extra challenge to her classes while also being very encouraging and helpful when working towards new asanas.

Very cozy studio and Nagy Bianka lead a wonderful practice on Jan 1st. Although I do not understand Hungarian language she explained to me the flow and i was able to follow the session.

This was a beautiful class for anyone practicing yoga. In this case, the teacher’s knowledge and dedication the Hatha enveloped the space, which is beautiful by the way. I’m visiting the city,,and am finding this place to be perfect for my stay. While the class was in Hungarian, the teacher was happy to clarify any requested prompts in English. The physical assists were also welcomed and really useful.

Chill vibes and lovely instructors. By the way, the view from the studio is amazing - a great way to start your day! They have classes in the morning, afternoons and evening, even on weekends. A wide variety of classes, actually. You can find what feels good on any given day, totally recommend!

I was travelling to Budapest and needed a time for myself. I found this place and it was the perfect choice. Ági is a nice person and a very good yoga teacher. Also the location and the atmosphere was unique, exactly in the center of Buda. I could book my yoga class in advance and the comunication with her was very fluid. Next time in Budapest I will repeat for sure. Btw: the views from the balcony was terrific!!!
