An absolute gem in Budapest! We had an incredible dinner here. The food was absolutely delicious—I ordered a double portion of sausages which were cooked to perfection. Since I follow a low-carb/sugar-free diet, the waiter was incredibly accommodating and helpful. He noticed that the traditional sides and even the sauerkraut contained sugar, and kindly offered to substitute them with a fresh garden salad instead. To top it off, he adjusted the price to make sure we got a fair deal. The service and hospitality were well civil and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Excellent food, amazing staff, and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back, highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you are looking for an authentic Hungarian experience away from the tourist crowds, this is the place to go. A true local restaurant where you mainly see Hungarians enjoying their meals, which is always a great sign. The atmosphere is warm, traditional and welcoming, giving you a real taste of Budapest. The food was excellent. We had the burgers with potato wedges and everything was freshly prepared, full of flavour and served in generous portions. The quality was much higher than we expected for the price. The value for money is outstanding. Good food, friendly service and very reasonable prices in a city where many restaurants in the centre have become quite expensive. A great place to experience authentic local hospitality and enjoy a delicious meal without paying tourist prices. Highly recommended! 🇭🇺🍔🍻

Very good Hungarian food and great service. The menu was explained for 2 inexperienced tourists. We visited twice while in Budapest as it was so tasty and great value. We recommend the Goulash obviously, and Toth sausage with mustard.

Definitely my favourite pub/restaurant that I came across (I think even in all of Europe). I came here twice during my holiday in Budapest as it was such a nice genuine atmosphere and the food was fantastic. It was a very real feeling place and not some tourist trap. The staff member who served us both times was very nice, welcoming and he was very helpful with recommending our dishes. We got gulash, Hungarian beef stew with pasta, Toth sausage with bread and mustard. The second time coming I got the Toth sausage with cabbage and stake potatoes, sides of pickled peppers and pickled cucumber I can definitely 100 percent recommend any of these dishes. They also pour a good pint Not expensive either

Its a not so touristy( atleast I thought so) very Hungarian bar/restaurant where I landed up accidentally while on a walk. I had my first apricot Palinka here which was an experience in itself! The owner of the restaurant was a sweet man who welcomed me very warmly and helped me with the menu. I also tried the dessert with poppy seeds and sourdough bread which was something I had never tried before. Its was a great experience and I would definitely love to go back when I am in Budapest!
