About A KERT Bisztró

Zöld oázis közel a belvároshoz, mégis távol a város zajos forgatagától. 68 évnyi pihenő után, 2016-ban nyitotta meg kapuit ismét az egykori zuglói kertvendéglő, A Kert Bisztró. A múlt század közepén Borház néven működő családi vendéglő ma újra családi vállalkozásként működik, hagyományokat nem feledve, mégis 21. századi köntösben. A tulajdonosok célul tűzték ki a minőségi konyha és a kötetlen hangulat ötvözését. Mindezt a belvároshoz közel, de a nyüzsgő városi forgatagtól elzárt oázisban, ősfák között élvezhetik a vendégek. Az étterem egyedisége a kert mellett a hatalmas fedett terasz, amely - átalakulván a téli időszakra - meghitt, otthonos télikertként vált az idelátogatók kedvenc helyszínévé.

A gem of a restaurant! The atmosphere and vibes were lovely. I am dairy free and I was delighted to find a vegan mushroom sauce on the menu which I paired with the sturgeon and fried potatoes. Absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Very beautiful place , nice service, but food was not so good. Tartar was just minced and not made with the knife, pork was very fat and hard to chew, foie gras was good, but the bread was with the weird sauce which didn’t fit there at all. Maybe will give this place a second chance.

A nice restaurant a bit outside of the crowded city. The service is very good, and the waiters are polite and friendly. The garden is especially cozy, and we even saw a porcupine there, which made the experience memorable. The food was also very good. Overall, a lovely place for a relaxing meal away from the busy city atmosphere.

Christmas atmosphere, great food and attentive smooth service. Specifically Jack was an amazing waiter - he was knowledgeable, friendly and also provided us with a great recommendation for the attractions in Budapest. It was a perfect evening with the family ❤️

This is a gem hidden in plain size not far from Keleti Station. The ambience is so relaxing and serene with a beautiful garden in the back of the establishment. The food is delicious and the presentation as well. The staff are friendly and welcoming and make the experience a great experience. You will not be disappointed with a stop into the restaurant.
