Very affordable stay. My bed was clean and the wifi was also good and fast and I was checked in very quickly. They also have a 24/7 reception and luggage area near the laundry room. It's open to everyone to access at all times but it is monitored by a CCTV. There are a few areas where they can improve: 1. The air conditioning in the room wasn't working. When I asked the staff if they could shift me to a room with a functioning air conditioner they told me it's not working for any of the rooms. It would help to remove the AC amenity from Booking.com until they start to work again. 2. The hostel needs to move away from allowing guests to select their bed by placing a magnet. For example despite placing a magnet on my bed and moving the bedsheet, I came back at night to find another guest seated on my bed eating shawarma. They claimed they were told to take any empty bed and saw mine empty and hence made it theirs. The staff told me to just take another empty bed which was fine but this confusion could easily be avoided by providing pre-assigned beds to sleep on. 3. The bathroom needs to be cleaned more frequently. I found empty toiletries of guests on the shower floor. And footw

There are two people at reception desk. Check-in takes about 6 minutes per person. Workers at reception desk keep talking each other. The workers have to focus in their job. Water tap in toilet doesn't work. Everything is required extra-charge.

It's a hostel, so it's cheap and you don't expect a gorgeous place, but this place is terrible. The structure is old, with stairs and a terrace that aren't up to code. But the worst part is the cleanliness: they assured us the room had been cleaned, but it wasn't, with mattresses and blankets stained and covered in dust. Even worse was the bathroom, which we had to clean ourselves just to be able to use it, and the towels they gave us were dirty. On Booking, they claim to have air conditioning, but the unit in the room barely blows any air at all. We tried setting it to 16°C,and the temperature didn't change in the slightest. I recommend this hostel to young people who want to travel on a budget, but they need to keep in mind the risk of infections due to the lack of hygiene in the bathroom. However, I wouldn't recommend it to elderly people or women, also because the neighborhood is quite sketchy and there are homeless people sleeping on the street. I don't recommend it to anyone with dust allergies, because, as I mentioned, the beds were full of it.

Great location near the bars and nightlife of Budapest and easy to travel to all the tourist hotspots. Had our room upgraded for us which was an added surprise. There’s a refundable deposit for the room keys and a wristband you have to wear to be allowed in which were no issues to us

- Central location - Spacious rooms - Quiet - Not properly cleaned In the middle of the night, a man was let into an all-female dormitory with no staff present, supposedly so he could collect his belongings which he claimed to have left there. The man was drunk and claimed that the hostel staff had unlocked our rooms for him. When we went to speak to the staff member afterwards and complained, he didn’t really respond and showed complete disinterest.
