I had an amazing stay at Onefam Budapest. Easily the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in 🐐. I came alone but quickly met many people through the hostel events. Great atmosphere, cleanliness, security, and organization. Perfect for solo travelers! Special thanks to Işılay and Erto Jr. Their energy, friendliness and great vibes made my stay even better. I’m officially requesting shares and performance bonuses from Onefam management for these two wonderful young people. I’ll definitely stay here again! 🐐 🐐

Of all my travels, this has been one of the best hostels for solo travellers. I’ve rarely been somewhere that made it so easy to feel at home and comfortable among complete strangers. The hostel does an excellent job of creating opportunities for people to build strong relationships and genuine connections with everyone around them. The hostel also isn’t too large (I believe it has around 70 beds compared to about 200 at Hive). That creates a much more intimate and collegial atmosphere, where it’s easy to get to know people rather than constantly meeting new faces. The volunteers also elevate the experience. Big shout-out to Kimberly. She showed up and immediately spread her warmth and positive energy throughout the hostel. She consistently went the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome, and she’ll be sorely missed by myself and, I’m sure, everyone who has the privilege of meeting her.

the hostel is great and. they have daily events likely a walk to somewhere in midday and then drinking games and then a bar and then a club/ ruinbar. the staffs were very nice and are very good at organising these events. if you are interested in the nightlife aspects of the city this is the go to place. It is also in a convenient location, within a 10-15 min walk of the city centre, and is in a modest Jewish quarter. Beds are very comfy with their own plugs on it and so on. very good atmosphere and you will meet the nicest people out here. note: they have a boat party every saturday and that includes transport to a ruin bar afterwards. DEFINITELY worth it

I had an amazing stay at Onefam Hostel in Budapest. The rooms, the staff, and the atmosphere were all great, and the whole place really felt like one big family. What made the hostel special for me was the combination of free activities, a welcoming atmosphere, and an amazing team. They offered daily activities such as walking tours, drinking games, and nights out to some of the best bars and clubs in Budapest. You could also borrow useful things, like a lock, for free. The staff were incredibly friendly and fun. Juan’s walking tour was really interesting, Bree and Damian made the nights out unforgettable, and Alisa was always great to chat with and made everyone feel welcome. The hostel was very clean and cleaned several times throughout the day. The location is also perfect — you can walk almost everywhere, whether you want to go sightseeing, eat, drink, or party. It is a great place to meet open-minded people from all over the world. I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Budapest. Highly recommended!

My first solo trip, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better start! My stay at Onefam Hostel in Budapest was amazing. 🙌 From the very first moment, I felt super comfortable – the vibe there is really relaxed, social, and welcoming, and it’s so easy to meet people. It’s also a party hostel, so there’s always something going on if you want to join in, but it still manages to feel safe, friendly, and well organized. The hostel itself is very clean, which I really appreciated. The absolute highlight, though, were the people! I met so many incredible travelers, and the volunteers truly make a huge difference. Especially Anna, Anneta, Lotta, Paula, and Juliet – will miss you guys! 💛 You created such a fun, inclusive, and easy- going atmosphere that it really felt like home. Budapest itself is also such a beautiful city with so much to explore – perfect for a solo trip. I genuinely had an unforgettable time and can only recommend this hostel to everyone. I would come back anytime! 😊
