The photos of the property are outdated. The current condition is terrible. The room was so small that the bed took up the entire space. The room was very dirty and worn! The worst night's sleep ever. The only positive was the central location, but such conditions make it impossible to rest.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hostel was very disappointing. The room cleanliness was far below expectations. We found dead insects in the room, the hygiene conditions did not feel acceptable, and the room looked very different from the photos shown in the listing. Because of this, we decided to leave shortly after check-in. We shared photos of the room with the hostel to explain the situation, but instead of offering a solution, they implied that the mess and hygiene issues were caused by us after entering the room. We found this attitude extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. What made the experience even worse was the communication afterward. Rather than trying to understand the issue or approach it in a constructive way, the responses were defensive and dismissive throughout the conversation. After leaving, we stayed at another hostel for only 10 Euros more, and the difference in cleanliness, comfort, and professionalism was huge. For that reason, I cannot recommend this place in terms of value for money either. I understand that budget accommodations may offer simple conditions, but basic cleanliness and respectful communication should still be standard every

It was organized nicely. Staff was very friendly. She helped a lot. Kitchen have all equipments. Also the bed has privacy included light. Lockers have private. Even though people mentioned bedbugs stuff we never witnessed that kind of one there. It was clean.

1/10 - BED BUGS, BITES, NO REFUND Found a small white-yellow bed bug nymph ON THE BED late night (reception closed - couldn’t do anything ). Within 1 day after check out, we got red itchy bites all over our bodies. We were only staying 1 night, out sightseeing all day. Had to buy treatment creams and deal with huge stress at our trip. Sent photos immediately to hostel & Booking.com. Hostel denied my request, no full refund despite clear proof. They stopped responding. Found another recent review (which is poster a week ago) about severe bed bug infestation here. This shows a clear ongoing problem. This is unfair not to have a refund despite a CLEAR PROOF! DO NOT STAY - check beds carefully or risk same nightmare. The location doesn’t matter that much, Budapest is beautiful and a walkable city, better check some other hotels that are affordable too. Additionally to this it’s dirty and loud, I was pretty ready for this due to the price, but not the bed bugs!!!
