I came without reservation and early morning. Needed a big car for family trip to Balaton lake for 1 day. The team was very friendly, helped me fast and promptly, explained parking app and tolls, showed the car. I got Tiguan, almost new, with all features. Dropped it same evening at Mariott Garage. Enjoyed the service, thank you.

Our experience was brutal. We were there to rent a car because we needed to go to Eger to burry our father’s ashes. We speak Hungarian and still they gave us a car with damage to a tire that they tried to blame on us and charge us 1200 Euros. Luckily we took lots of pictures and a video around the entire vehicle and were able to prove it was an existing damage. It was a slight bulge in a tire so they claimed we hit a curb. When we picked up the car they parked it against some hedges, when we returned it they wanted it out in the open. It’s a well calculated scam they do over and over again. I had to run back to the apartment and come back with the footage. A very difficult day they made even worse by trying to rip off Hungarian citizens. Shameful behaviour. So this is a warning. Do not do any business with these people, as they have no shame in doing this over and over again. Take your business elsewhere please.

Great experience with the people at Hertz. Even though we where a bit sceptic reading reading some comments, They where kind and explained everything. They updagrade us a category car. The car returned full as it was and in perfect condition. Now just waiting for the release of the warranty. Will definitely be our choice is a family next time.

They speak English and are very friendly. The communication was great. The car was clean and new! Just keep in mind the place is very busy especially Saturday morning, so expect a wait of 30-50 mins, or pickup in the afternoon. When you return after hour, DO NOT drop the key in the RED MAIL BOX. If you dropped in the key like me, you’ll have to pay three more days and wait for the postman to open the mail box and take out the key. I was able to fish the key out with a wire and hook🤣🤣
