Very nice location to consider when deciding to visit Budapest. It's not exactly in the center but the public transport is punctual and they will get you to the cwnter in 15-20 mins. Staff is great, very friendly. I had a lot of laughs with them while serving some of their very nice, cold draft beer

Horrific Experience! We had driven 1,200 km that day from Italy to Budapest and were completely exhausted. We were just hoping for a quiet evening and a good night's rest, but unfortunately, we booked this terrible motel. When we finally arrived around 9:00 PM, they simply refused to let us into our room. Their argument was that families with pets are not allowed, even though this was absolutely not stated anywhere at the time of our booking. Me, my teenage daughter, my husband, and our dog were rudely asked to leave, despite the fact that we had fully prepaid for our stay. I have never seen such unacceptable treatment in any country or at any hotel! The staff was incredibly rude, arrogant, and made absolutely zero effort to help or find a solution. It felt like we weren't clients paying for a service, but rather unwanted intruders. I later looked through other reviews here and quickly realized that we are far from the only ones—this kind of "service" is just the norm for this place. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Fortunately, that same evening, despite the late hour, we managed to find another hotel. I stayed at this hotel, and even for a quick one-night stopover, this place is a total disappointment. The entire hotel feels completely neglected. The furniture in the room was incredibly outdated, shabby, and frankly, dirty. It seems like the cleaning here is purely superficial at best. The most unpleasant part was the bed—the bedding did not feel fresh at all and had a distinct, stale "smell of old age" that made it very difficult to comfortably sleep. To top it all off, the breakfast was absolutely terrible and primitive. Cheap, tasteless, and completely unappetizing. This place desperately needs a renovation, a deep clean, and a complete change of management. It is absolutely not worth the money. Save yourself the discomfort and stay somewhere else.

I have booked for a fourth time to come back to this gem of a hotel and now my home from home. Staff are delightful, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is so good with the best coffee and freshly squeezed lemon juice. I have my favourite room but I’m not going to share it in case it becomes too popular! The views of the city are so romantic, especially at night, and it is an easy stroll into the centre. What not to love? ❤️
