“Traditional” hungarian food. Good for a quick lunch. You can choose from a daily menu or just anything from behind the counter. Better than the overpriced restaurants. Affordable prices. Szeretlék!

Microwave heaten food served in plastic. Cold food. People smoking in kitchen, you can smell it in dining area. No toilet. Overpriced for tourists.

A day ago it was a random idea while sitting in Cambridge at my lunch break with another Hungarian guy. Today actually travelled nearly 2000km for real to sit in here and try the menu 😃😂 No regrets!! Beautiful tasty food, good atmosphere and perfect customer service ❤️ I guess it was not my last time here...🙂

EAT LIKE A LOCAL IN BUDAPEST. Just arrived to Budapest and popped into this super local gem. They serve home cooked, authentic local Hungarian food. When I told the staff it was my very first time trying Hungarian food, they explained all their dishes and offerings in English. It’s a fast casual spot where you order at the counter from the daily offerings. Your food is served up quickly on paper plates with metal cutlery OR packaged to go. There’s tables for 14 people inside and a few terrace tables outside for nice weather. At the time I visited, the clientele was all local and of various ages. Portions were VERY generous, so come hungry. The hostesses were so kind and welcoming. They made sure I tried a bit of everything and as I stopped by close to closing time, they generously gifted me a dessert. 🤩 SUGGESTIONS: —stuffed cabbage (sausage filling) —bean soup (you can ask for this without meat as it’s added in at serving time) —rolled crepes (I loved the Nutella and the blueberry options)
