hefty portions and decently tasty for the price. friendly staff who did their best to understand me. i went at 4pm so the food was a little cold, but the staff helped me to heat it up and asked me to let them know if i needed the food to be heated up further.

If you don't expect luxurious interior decor and 1st class service than this place will be the best ! Food is very nice, biiiiig portions ! It's cheap as hell comapred to some scam restaurants in Budapest. Staff there are very friendly, you feel like you came eat to someone's home. Recomended 💯

Great food with a nice variety of local dishes to choose from. There are also vegetarian options.. This establishment seems to be frequented by locals , and most dishes seem to be sold out by closing time which is a good indicator.. I ate here several times and was never disappointed.. it's pretty straight forward, cafeteria style where you choose ready made dishes.. offerings vary on a daily basis . The owners are hardworking, very pleasant and helpful. They made great recommendations when I wasn't sure what to choose as I was unfamiliar with Hungarian cuisine.. they are welcoming, and provide a warm environment.. I highly recommend this eatery

Excellent Hungarian dishes, well-cooked not costing the Earth. Very decent food for take away, although there are few tables where you can sit too.
