A fantastic find in Budapest! The restaurant is superbly located and offers a culinary experience that truly impressed us. We visited in the early afternoon and were delighted by the appetizers, which were absolutely delicious. The pasta dishes were also a highlight—perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The dessert was divine, and the wine selection was excellent, perfectly complementing our meal. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt well taken care of from the first to the last bite. Unfortunately, the pizzas were sold out, but the antipasti and pasta more than made up for it. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of Italian cuisine!

We sat outside and ordered the Italicus and Limoncello Spritzers, which came with slow-melting ice, perfect for a summer evening. The usher was warm and friendly, but the service was slow. I went up to the bar to settle our bill and make it simpler for the staff but the waitress seemed very inconvenienced by the gesture saying she couldn’t deal with it. When she came later with the bill, on top of the mandatory 15% service charge, she insisted on an additional tip of 10%, 15% or 20% — tapping my card on the POS machine wouldn’t work without a tip selection.

This restaurant deserves 5 stars rating! Everything that we ordered came out perfect and delicious. We are family of four with 2 teenagers and we enjoyed the food so much! The pizza was perfect. Tiramisu is excellent and the best tiramisu I’ve ever eaten.

We’ve now been to Leon Osteria twice—and that already says a lot 😊 From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They make you feel genuinely comfortable and take the time to ensure everything is just right, without it ever feeling forced. The food was excellent on both visits. I personally went for the carbonara, and it was an absolute standout—rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the care that goes into each dish. What makes this place special is the combination of delicious food and warm, professional service. It’s the kind of restaurant you happily return to—and we definitely did. Highly recommended if you’re in Budapest!

Everything was absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful Italian wine that was sweet yet still fresh, and it perfectly met our expectations. The starter was also excellent, and the main course as well :) It’s sometimes hard to find Carbonara this good even directly in Italy. Thank you, and we will definitely be happy to come back :)
