Incompetent (!). I had to use their customer service several times, each time ending ridiculously seeing how incompetent employees a company can have. Did a video call yesterday to close my account, spent 30 mins for that, with all kind of authentications and real person in the video. Now I received email that the video quality wasn't good, so all the yesterday call was for nothing. Thanks for wasting my time!

Been using magnetbank for several years and whenever i go to their any branch, tellers are always eager to help, positive, nice…never had bad experience with them. Furthermore i would like to emphasize Ms. Németh Szabó Mariann, consulted with her twice /randomly/ she is so helpful, does/knows her job perfectly well, very kind and positive… Mr. Zavarko Akos was also very helpful and kind when i was there 2-3 yrs ago 🙂

Horrible bank that I don't recommend to anyone who cares about human rights. I'm a Latvian citizen and my stepdaughter is Ukrainian national. We live in Hungary for some 7 years. She works here and she studies at uni. She has rights here as all EU citizens as she is an EU family member. So, this bank first took her documents and then in a month announced that nothing ever was submitted (but obviously it was) and she had to resubmit everything again. Then again silence for a month. Then my spouse wrote a complaint. They lied that they have called. Eventually now after 2.5 months they informed us that the submission is rejected. Without explanation. Discrimination without borders and shame. Racists. UPDATE: Oh, no need to write these empty words about your inclusiveness. These are just all empty words, especially after this experience, and looking at your other reviews. You didn't give an account to 19 year ELTE student with a good job and obviously residency, and EU family member permit just because of her nationality. Just because of her Ukrainian passport. And it didn't matter that she was not even here temporary, that she was not a refugee. Just a "bad" passport. Really, really

NEW UPDATE: The issue has been resolved by openings an account in another bank. After almost 3 months of ingnoring us, Magnet send a message declining the application for no reason. ***** UPDATE: Today we visited the branch and apparently there is no sign of the documents in the system (submitted almost a month ago) 🤯🤯🤯 So, we resubmitted all the documents again and waiting for the call from the bank in two days. I'll keep you posted. ************************* It has been already 3 weeks since I submitted the following documents to open a bank account for my daughter: - Passport - Hungarian residence permit (family member of EEA citizens) - Hungarian address card (lakcímkártya) - Job contract in Hungary - Hungarian tax number We haven't heard from them ever since. Even though I mentioned that it's urgent as there is an upcoming salary to be paid. I tried to call but the line for English speaking operator is always busy. This is not acceptable.

I went for modifications of my account details. I was so lucky to do these modifications with Zavarkó Ákos, he was kind and explained every paper that I needed to sign. In other banks everyone is just handing over the papers and asking for 5 signatures but nobody is explaining what are those especially when you are not from that country and some things you just don’t get. Anyway, I had a nice experience here and I very much liked the umbrellas’ #niceideea 🍀
