An absolute 10/10 experience! The food is of exceptionally high quality, with every dish prepared to perfection using premium ingredients. The service is truly first-class—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Dining here is more than just having a meal; it’s a wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back!

Mercatino was truly the best meal we had in all of Budapest, everything we tried was so thought out and delicious! The service is absolutely amazing, and our waiter was not only kind but also extremely helpful, and even surprised me with a dish when I couldn’t pick between two! You can tell that only the best ingredients are used and the presentation of each dish is incredible. The restaurant itself is beautiful and is perfect for a date night, I couldn’t recommend it enough, do not miss out on this place!!!

Mercatino was the favourite dinner from the entire Budapest trip. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful, staff are very attentive and friendly, and the food... The blackened spaghetti with garlic cream sauce and king prawns was absolutely delicious. This was by far some of the most delicious Italian food I've eaten in some time, however did opt for a more traditional poppy seed cake dessert which was stunning and delicately delicious. A highly recommended stop whilst in the city.

It does feel a little touristy, but somehow, that didn’t take away from the experience. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The food was genuinely enjoyable. The lobster pasta was rich and full of flavour, clearly made with care, though I have to admit, it landed a bit heavy afterwards. Overall, a solid, satisfying stop with a cosy vibe.

Compared to the seafood risotto, the lobster tagliatelle is truly outstanding. I could literally eat nothing else and just have ten plates of the lobster tagliatelle. The only tiny criticism I have is that there’s not that much lobster meat, but the meat itself is wonderfully bouncy and firm. The tagliatelle has just the right texture, the sauce is incredibly fragrant, and even after sitting for a while, it doesn’t become overly salty. The restaurant also gave us a complimentary glass of tomato juice, which was super smooth going down. In the end, I couldn’t resist ordering a tiramisu. Highly recommend everyone to come to this restaurant!
