I’m so happy I chose Szonja, because I not only found an excellent real estate agent, but also got to know an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy person. From the very first time we met, I felt that I was in good hands. Szonja was there for me throughout the entire process, always ready to help and always available whenever I needed her. Whenever I had a question or felt uncertain about something, she was patient, reassuring, and supportive. I never felt like I was just another client or that this was simply another property for her – she genuinely cared about me and made sure that everything went as smoothly and successfully as possible. Beyond her professionalism, what I appreciate most about Szonja is her genuine kindness and the way she treats people. It is rare to find someone who combines such expertise, integrity, and warmth. Szonja, thank you so much for everything! ❤️ If I ever need help with real estate again in the future, there is absolutely no question who I will call. I wholeheartedly recommend Szonja to anyone looking for a real estate agent they can truly trust!

I can't praise her and her team enough. It was scary at first with my purchase after having delt with a bad realtor who only cared about quick money. She came to my rescue and helped us buy a great property. She won't abandon you after the end of the contract. She will help with after care such as how to pay taxes, set up utilities, and what ever you need. Sonya is great and will go above and beyond to help you.

Sonya Hohl is really great. She's a Hungarian- New Yorker. Real estate industry is really different in Budapest. It was super helpful that Sonya can explain the purchasing process in a way that an American can understand.

Five stars go to Selling Budapest! We worked with them last year to buy our property, and the level of service from Sonya was incredible. She didn’t just work closely with us to find a place, she supported us through every single step of the process. It is clear she genuinely cares about her clients' best interests. What could have been a stressful international purchase was made to feel easy and exciting. Thank you for going above and beyond for us, we wish you all the very best for the future.

If you are interested in purchasing an apartment in Budapest, Sonya is the person to call. She knows everything there is to know about the market. Before our trip to Budapest, Sonya had already did the research and lined up a slew of apartments for us to visit. During the week we were in the city in March 2024, Sonya patiently took us all around and gave us her best advice on what would work best for our needs. We closed on a beautiful newly renovated and fully furnished apartment within our budget on our last day there. Sonya made all the arrangements with the closing attorney, who did a great job as well. After the purchase, Sonya took care of registering all the utilities, communications with third parties, etc. We really could not be happier. Sonya is honest, direct, and definitely goes the extra mile to assist in all aspects of the purchase.
