The park is a mandatory area of the city to visit. Inside the park you can visit: 1- Vajdahunyad Castle: It's the house of the Museum Of Hungarian Agriculture. It's like a fairytale structure built in 1896 that mixes several architectural styles. 2- Városligeti Műjégpálya: It's a boating lake in the summer and in the winter is transformed in a largest outdoor ice-skating rink. 3- The park also houses the striking House of Music Hungary and the sweeping Museum of Ethnography. 4- Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden: A historic 19th-century zoo with some amazing animal houses. 6- A massive Main Playground (Liget Budapest), the Capital Circus of Budapest 7- The city's iconic hot air balloon.

An absolute highlight of our Budapest trip. City Park is far more than a green space it’s an open-air museum where every path leads to something worth stopping for. Vajdahunyad Castle is the star: a fairytale mix of Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque styles reflected in the lake, with the hooded Anonymus statue sitting quietly in its courtyard. Heroes’ Square at the entrance is genuinely impressive, especially the sweep of Hungarian chieftains and kings framing the Millennium Monument. The museums around and inside the park the Museum of Fine Arts, the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, the House of Music mean you could easily spend a full day here without leaving the grounds. The statues scattered throughout, the wide tree-lined walkways, and the general calm make it a lovely place to just wander with no plan at all. Széchenyi Baths sitting right there is the perfect way to end the visit. Highly recommended give it more time than you think you need.

The park is an absolute "must do" area of the city to visit. There are so many things to see here. It is also the perfect location for a picnic lunch along the water. Key highlights in the park include: Széchenyi Thermal Bath: One of the largest spa complexes in Europe, featuring iconic outdoor and indoor healing thermal pools. Heroes' Square: The grand entrance to the park, showcasing the towering Millennium Monument and flanked by the Museum of Fine Arts and the Kunsthalle (Hall of Art). Vajdahunyad Castle: A fairytale-like structure built in 1896 that blends Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles. It also houses the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture. Városligeti Műjégpálya (City Park Ice Rink & Boating Lake): The boating lake transforms in the winter into Central Europe's largest outdoor ice-skating rink. Modern Architecture & Museums: The park features newer additions like the striking House of Music Hungary and the sweeping Museum of Ethnography. Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden: A historic 19th-century zoo featuring spectacular Art Nouveau animal houses. Family Amenities: The massive Main Playground (Liget Budapest), the Capital Circus of Bud

Beautiful and big public park near Heroes’ Square with small lake, magnificent Vajdahunyad Castle, Szechenyi Thermal Baths, Zoo, Kunsthalle. We went there for Champions’ League Festival on Heroes’ Square. There were many fans and tourists from all over the world. There was great festivities and attractions. I like Vajdahunyad Castle, Lake and the immense Park. Would recommend for a visit. It can be gone there from city center on a subway M1, bus line 105.

Great park to walk around and grab a bite to eat. It's very romantic and has such amazing Hungarian charm. I'm so happy we went to this park after spending the day at Thermal Baths close by. Definitely a cute spot to hang out and enjoy the scenery. It offers great views and is a perfect place to do photo shoots. It was truly one of my most favorite parks I've been to.
