I was walking to at least 10 other change, asking the very same questions. After one day of walking in the city, i assumed, this chage is the best for me in my case. I tried all of the nerby changes. You can save time by coming here first. They have enough currency type, they change all the main currencies. For selling here exotic types of currencies, they was offering in huf smaller amount for one than i expected, i got a higher offer for one in two other place but in that place they wanted to also get a very high commission fee, that was the only reason why in my case (exchance of very small amount) i did not choose the higher offer because after all it meant less because of the high commission fee for one exchange. So even while they wanted to give here lower amout of huf when selling a currency(AED), still they won in price because i was with small amount and not big amount, so the commission fee of the other place was higher than the difference. So, sometimes they might not offer the highest amount of huf, but i cannot complain because other places in all case wanted to get also the commission fee. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been my go-to place for exchanging money. The rates are consistently better than anywhere else I’ve tried, which is why I stopped going to other spots. The guy working there is always friendly, we usually have a quick chat, and the whole process is easy and straightforward. I was originally referred here a long time ago and honestly don’t even remember by who anymore, but I’m glad I was. For me, this is the best money exchange place in Budapest.

I come at least twice a year to Budapest every year and only change with Prima Change by Astoria. They are not only fair and correct but are always super friendly! I can recommend they wholeheartedly!

The staff at the currency exchange counter was very friendly and helpful. He even rounded up the exchanged amount for us. We were extremely satisfied with our first currency exchange experience in Budapest 👍👍.
