They accept only cash and the saleswoman is extremely rude to the customers. I even think they're trying to hide their profit from tax authorities since they don't want to accept card payments and give receipts. Their products are overpriced compared to other Russian food stores too.

Nice Kvas but the cashier with red hair was so rude for no reason. Totally killed the vibe and atmosphere. Some people shouldn’t be working in retail if they can’t muster up an attitude. Seems like I wasn’t the only one with this experience. Maybe the store should consider hiring people who actually enjoy their work and have a nice outgoing attitude. Easiest way to lose customers is having a grumpy employee who won’t even bother being polite or nice to their customers 👎

Sales person (kind of old, russian woman) was extremely rude. Didn't allow us to select/ touch products from the refrigerator(pelmeni). I want to check and choose the products I buy, so do not expect me to take first pack on top and go. I am a customer and I decide what to buy, ok? You don't need my money - fine) Buy, c'mon, it's 21 century - pay at least some attention to your customer service, otherwise you will loose all your clients ( even the most loyal).

Local lady running the shop speaks fluent Russian. Find here all the everyday goods you would look for is Russia. Very good selection of caviar is also available.

The shop clearly represents a specific late soviet style: spacious, not too sophisticated and purely functional. No ads, no explanations, no ideas. You must know what to buy otherwise simply get lost in a great variety of nostalgic products. However, almost all items are produced in Germany. Maybe by Soviet immigrants, in any case, the taste and the appearance is really as I remember from the old Soviet times. If you want to travel in time and find something Soviet (not simply Russian because there is Ukrainian, Georgian and Armenian stuff also) this is the best place.
