One of the poorest train stations I have seen in Europe! Everything is just ancient old. Literally surrounded with abandoned buildings which gives a bad feeling! One very bad things here is that there is no place to sit! I was shocked when I walked here and there to find a chair to sit.

It's just a numer of platforms and station itself is closed. I had to guesse the platform 5 min before train because main screen showed only delayed trains. No info is the worst thing you can have!

The train station has people who scam you and who act as if they need ticket to go to country side. They will have a sad face and sad story tagged. They May not ask for money but ask you to pay for ticket and make you pay for a high cost ticket which they will later cancel and convert as money. Attached is a far shot pic of one of the scams. Authorities please take action.

Terrible experience of using this station. When we wanted to know the information about the arrival of our train, we barely found a person who could tell us. But still no one knows English, no one understands it, even in a place where you can buy international tickets. There is no warm place, it blows everywhere. Waiting for the train at night, which was delayed for 6 hours, we were incredibly cold. There is no place to warm up, no toilet. Information points are closed in the evening. Terrible place, avoid it.

One of my favourite place. the station have tube, tram, bus connection with center city of budapest. if you wish to travel with in hungary or to europe than you can catch the train from here. recently FLIX BUS started to stop here. with in one year there is a big mall going to open just opposite the station. if you want to drive & drop some one then there are plenty free parking.
