I bought a pair of shoes 4 yeas ago (in 2022) - still wearing, feels great. The price seems up to two times cheaper than in City Centre workshops. Pity no one reply emails or pick up phone. I would consider stopping over in Budapest when flying by to get another pair of shoes from this master, but cannot find evidence that the shop is still open.

Warm and welcoming owner, coming from a family line of shoe maker. Excellent quality for shoes that will last you decades (provided you take care of them) at lesser prices than similar shops downtown. Happy to wear a piece of Budapest as part of my daily routine.

Nice shoes, but not any better than regular mass produced ones at 5 times the price. I bought a pair for every day office use and had to take them back in less than 2 months to fix the toe and heel. After about 6 months they expanded nearly a full size and now they are too big.
