⚠️ DO NOT BOOK HERE. I find the way this company has handled my situation absolutely disgraceful. I paid a €1,389 deposit and, despite repeatedly calling them, I still have not received a proper solution or any clear response. I returned the car in perfect condition, and they even sent me a document confirming that the vehicle was returned without any issues. Despite this, they have still not returned my money and continue to give me no real answer whenever I contact them. This is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. They are holding a significant amount of my money and refusing to provide a proper explanation or resolution. I strongly recommend NOT booking with this company. Think twice before trusting them with your money, because when there is a problem, apparently nobody takes responsibility.

We reserved an Economy Class automatic with unlimited mileage, as confirmed in our reservation and in accordance with Enterprise's published rental terms and conditions. When we arrived, we were told that the automatic vehicle we had reserved had been sold. We were then offered two alternatives: an Economy manual with unlimited mileage, or an Economy automatic with a mileage limit. We declined the manual because neither of us drives a manual transmission safely, which is precisely why we had reserved an automatic. We were told the mileage had to be limited because the automatic car had already been sold and would be delivered to its new owner with guaranteed mileage on the odometer. We were even warned that if we exceeded the mileage limit, we could be held financially responsible for the company's loss. We could not find any provision in Enterprise's published terms and conditions that allows a branch to replace an unlimited-mileage automatic reservation with a mileage-limited automatic vehicle because it has been sold. If such a policy exists, it should be clearly disclosed before a reservation is accepted—not only after the customer arrives to collect the vehicle. The branch

Don't bother, there are other companies that provide a much higher level of customer care and service for equal or better prices. I have been a gold customer, rented with Enterprise all over Europe, but the service level in Hungary is appalling. Save yourself the headache and choose something else. To Enterprise Budapest, you still have not answered to the Corporate Claim submitted on my behalf from the US Headquarters.

I got the tank filled to the brim, but the dashboard showed a notch less than full. The attendant, and then the guy at the counter, just throw their hands up and shrug their shoulders that they cannot do anything about it, i'll still be charged for the gas - that they obviously won't be able to fill because the tank is *already* full. This bloody hungarian attitude that "i'm just doing my job, checking checkboxes, not my area" etc etc. Grrhhh! Thank goodness there are other car rental choices for my next trip. I'd rather not pay extra for this Enterprise's faulty car.

I wanted to take a moment to tell you what an amazing customer service experience I had when we landed in Budapest. We had just arrived from a chaotic 16-hour adventure from Los Angeles through Paris with 3 little kids (ages 4, 2, and a newborn), and I was tired and still with a 2 hour and 54 minute drive ahead of me. And let me tell you that Kalman completely reinvigorated me. He was the perfect combination of professional and kind and funny...everything you want from the guy in a tie standing across the counter from you at a rental car agency. I have to tell you that I travel quite a bit, and this is not the kind of service I normally receive. He went through all of my paperwork thoroughly and completely while also managing to insert occasional questions about my trip ahead. I am super grateful for this. I needed great service at that moment, and he delivered. I love Enterprise!
