I’ve been renting cars for several years in Budapest and can say with certainty that Pocket Car rentals is an absolute gem. We rented a Skoda Fabia estate recently and the whole process was flawless. We were picked up at the airport within minutes of my call following which the gentleman went through the details of the rental and went around carefully inspecting the vehicle. All this was done swiftly but professionally. The car was fantastic, almost new, easy to use, spacious, comfortable and very fuel efficient. Upon our return, we were transferred to the airport without delay. Absolutely fabulous service. I will definitely return and I highly recommend. Many thanks.

I can't recommend this business, even one star is too much. They advertised that they have got baby carseats for all ages (they still do state this on their site). Sent the details with my quote request, and they've accepted. When the day came for me to pick up the car, they could not give a proper car seat matching the age of my child. They mostly had unknown branded seats from probably the last century (google them: Babygo 7, Bimbo One) without any accessories what is essential for safe use. They didn't even have any user manual. On top of all that, not even the colleague could show the proper use either. They actually stated that they can't show how to use the seats they are about to rent me, and they are not responsible for safe use... Thanks for nothing... This is straight false advertisement. On top of all this, the car had about 10 chips and scratches on each body part. I highly advise against renting a car from this business, but if you do, make sure to make as many photos as you can, because they will try to rip you off with "not remembering" 1 of the millions of damages on the car. Excellent company that I've been renting cars from for a good number of years now whenever my family and I come to Hungary for the summertime. The service is professional and always courteous. Their rates are very reasonable and the cars are always in great condition. The pickup and drop off location is conveniently located near Budapest airport and they provide free transfers to and from the terminals. I would definitely recommend them!

Excellent, greatly reliable service and very friendly staff. I have been renting cars from them every year for over a decade when I visit back to Hungary. They pick me and my family up at the airport and drove us back when we dropped off the car at the previously agreed time and location. Highly recommend them for everyone.
