Welcoming friendly. Lettuce with herb dressing -little bit salty to have it by itself but it was fresh. Goulash soup - goulash was amazing. Perfect to warm up your stomach. Good for dipping with the bread as well. Escargot in its own shell with garlic toast - Escargot the garlic flavor was not that strong so I could able to taste the excargo as it is which was good. It would have been better if it came with bit more of olive oil sauce. Grilled goose liver and apple with Cumberland sauce -Very savory and creamy. Loved that. Well balanced but I still preferred having it without the apple. Duck Tisza style with letcho Crispy, tough and dry but the cabbage was good Homestyle crispy duck with steamed cabbage and onion potato Crispy, tough and dry but again, cabbage was good. -Musicians asked customers for their nationality and played their songs which was nice and enjoyable However, got recommended too much food, couldn’t finish the mains at all, all went to bin. -getting a bill took bit too long time (around 30mins). There was a big table and few more table with only two severs. We were planing to go for sunset, it was our last night and missed it :( Hundred percent unde

Everything was wonderful — the food, atmosphere, and staff were all exceptional. But the highlight of the evening was the live performance of Gloomy Sunday by Rezső Seress. What made it even more special was knowing that Seress himself used to play piano in this very restaurant years ago. It gave the whole place a unique historical and emotional atmosphere. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Absolutely love this old school Hungarian restaurant. While we were in Budapest, we visited three times. Food is excellent preparation and fantastic entertainment.

I have to say this was the best dining experience when I traveled in Budapest. Friendly staff, great musicians and relaxing vibe. I really enjoy dining in this little restaurant in Buda area. Especially thank you for recommending Tokaji Aszu 1972, and this made the dinner become perfect. Highly recommend this nice restaurant. It is located in a quiet place but actually it is close to metro station.

The food and service are very good. There is the very professional violin playing and they play some French world famous songs. We are so impressed. We enjoyed and appreciate a lot! I suggest people must go.
