This apartment complex was an extremely good value for the money. The rooms were clean, with 3 beds in our room, and a very attentive and friendly reception employee. The AC worked like a dream (which is not the norm in Europe), and the staff did their best to assist us. We were given access to the washing machine for free, and ever detergent if we needed it. There is no dryer available, but a wire rack was provided. Breakfast was even included from a restaurant nextdoor. These little extras (as well as a small playground and picnic area for families), really goes a long way for budget travel. While it is not a luxury hotel, for the price, I found the experience second to none in Hungry. Would definitely recommend to any travelers on a budget wishing to see Budapest.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting Budapest! The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos – clean, cozy, modern, and very well maintained. Everything was spotless, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Check-in was smooth and well organized, and they made us feel at home from the very beginning. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and a perfect start to the day. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again in the future.

: TOTAL SCAM! Unreliable hotel, avoid at all costs! Do not book this property! They are completely dishonest and will ruin your trip for a quick profit. They cancelled my confirmed reservation at the last minute, using a fake excuse about "maintenance works." Right after that, I found my exact same room re-listed on the platform for the same dates—but the price was 20 to 30 times higher! They simply lied to my face to cancel my cheap rate and resell the room at an extreme peak-season price. Utterly unprofessional, greedy, and unethical behavior. Stay away!

5⭐️ Excellent stay at Mariposa Apartments! Great value for money, very clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and free parking included. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it was a very bad experience. The breakfast was terrible—so bad that we could only have coffee in the mornings. It was completely different from the pictures shown on Booking.com. As for the room, the bathroom had a horrible smell and very poor ventilation. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly either; it was a sliding door that left gaps on both sides. Everything felt old and dirty. For instance, the windows were so filthy that you couldn't even touch them. It wasn’t even suitable for a single night's sleep. However, despite everything, the staff members were very kind.
