Definitely an interesting experience. Never done caving before but it has to be the most physically demanding thing I’ve done. I really struggled but I enjoyed. I don’t think I’d do it again but I’m glad I did it. Not sure why we weren’t given knee pads though as my knees were hurting a lot kneeling so much.

I had so much fun during the Budapest Cave Experience! The instructor was incredibly nice, informative and helpful, making sure everyone felt safe and enjoyed the experience. It was a unique and exciting adventure and I would definitely do it again. Highly recommended!

Very interesting, truly spectacular cave. I highly recommend it to everyone; it can be a great experience for older people as well. The guide was professional and grabbed everyone's attention. Thank you to Laura, our young tour leader.

This is included in the 48hr Budapest card. It is actually the best stop of my trip in Budapest!! An absolute hidden gem that you cannot miss. The cave is well maintained with paved paths. A portion of the tour is on super steep and narrow stairs/ladders, so people with impaired mobility are not able to do this part. The guide may speak in Hungarian but your audioguide has many languages. You get to learn a bit about the geology and history of the cave discovery, and the nature is also so impressive. During winter you can see hibernated bats. They are tiny, cute, and harmless.

One of the best natural attractions in the Budapest area. I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest, especially if you are someone who enjoys nature. You can visit the caves only with help of tour guide, make sure the timing before you get here, and my tour guide was very friendly. I had to wait for 45 minutes because when I arrived a group just went on the adventure, therefore I had to wait for next slot, that’s why I recommend checking the timing.
