I am a street musician I have changed my bags of euro coins here for a few times. But today an incredibly rude lady declined to change my money, because the old date on my Hungarian ID card. Half an hour I tried to explain, that for Ukrainians there is no need for a new card or a paper because according to this resolution 343/2024. (XI. 14.) Korm. rendelet the temporary protection status is prolonged till 2026, and no need to change documents. I couldn’t find the link right away, so I had to stand on the street on the sun in 32 degrees to find it, because they didn’t let me stay in. Still they declined to help me, even when I showed them the document. Today I left in hysteric with my hands and body shaking, don’t recommend this place, even if the rates are good. No money cost your health. Update: found in the bad reviews here an other place at Raday utca, went there and absolutely happy with the service and exchange rates. Update 2: Dear Tichi Kft Numizmatikai bolt! Worst exchange of Budapest. Be ready to wait at least 30 minutes as they’re lazy who don’t wanna work. Extremely rude people who would not even talk to you if you’re a foreigner and will exchange you money only when they want depending on their humour. Only go there if you have no other choice and if you need to exchange exotic currency or coins. Don’t expect to get a receipt nevertheless, you can guess how this business works…

Staffs are very slow. We have wait in queue because of their slowness. Taking around 20 minutes to deal a customer. And lady on the counter cheated me since I am tourist, I know she was cheating but i don't have other options. & bad currencies rate. Her behavior is pathetic. They given me 380 ft for 1 Euro even though they written 387 as printed. Other exchanges providing 390 at that time. Never recommend & don't waste your time & money

Usually I change here the money. They have wide scale of different valuta. But it is better to call them prior as they don't have much stock.

Slowest service known to mankind, 40 minutes for the person before us, and a further 30 minutes for us, I was ready to end it all by the time the ordeal was over
