A rather large post office in the city center. It was easy to send a few postcards from here and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can grab a ticket from the machine and go to a counter when your number is ready. It was about 1,300 forints to mail one post card to the U.S. and 300 forints within Hungary.

Hello everyone, I must admit I'm very lucky that Budapest is the city of my birth, so I speak fluent Hungarian. It really does help me daily to speak my native language here. I already have several favorite employee I had the privilege to speak to in my favorite Post Office. Today I'd like to make a big compliment on András. At least 2-3 times my "entry number" guided me to his desk and he was and is always very helpful, patient and kind. Thank you so much for this Post Office! It's also always so nice and clean.
