I don't speak Hungarian, and her English was very limited, but she was very nice, and my postcards now have stamps :)

Find somewhere else to give your hard earned money to. I’m pretty sure the lady who served us was the manager, as if she was a member of staff she should have been sacked on the spot. There is no language barrier, she is simply one of the rudest people I have ever met. The rudest person I met during my trip to Budapest. If you ask for postage stamps remember to follow up quickly with where you intend on sending them, as the lady doesn’t give you a chance to say which country/countries you require the stamps for, she looks and speaks to you as if you’re a nuisance to her. Disgusting person. We will see if our postcards make it.

(!) counter review to balance out all the negative ones, because my experience was grand. yes the woman behind the counter isn’t to talkative, but that could also be the language barrier. my postcard arrived within a week; it travelled from hungary to some friends in the netherlands. so, i’d say this post office works just fine.

DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE! Sent postcards here. Placed them in the box myself after putting on the stamps. 1 and half months later none has been received. Destinations : Belgium, Canada and US. It shouldn’t take more than a month for a postcard from Hungary to Belgium. I would probably understand for countries outside Europe. I wish I had read the reviews before sending my postcards. Edit : 6 months later, none of the postcards received. I’ve finally accepted that those postcards need to be forgotten 😞. Please don’t make the mistake I made. Don’t use this place. Edit 2 : 2 years later, none of the postcards got to their destination. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Don’t use this post office. ❌❌❌
