Disappointing experience In my opinion, this hotel is much more suitable for older guests, who make up the majority of the clientele. If you are looking for a modern atmosphere with a younger crowd, this is something to keep in mind. Unfortunately, the service was also very disappointing. When we checked in, we were given a room that had not been cleaned. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. What was even more shocking was the situation at breakfast. Among the fresh fruit, there was a grapefruit covered in mould. We reported it to the staff, but no one even apologised. There was no apology for the dirty room either. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but what really matters is how the staff responds and whether they make an effort to resolve the problem. In our case, we experienced neither attention to guests nor even a basic apology. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations at all, and the level of service was far below what we expected.

Amazing experience, the hotel is in the city but you have a feeling that is a completely different dimension since Margaret Island is stunningly beautiful. It is so green outside around the hotel. From the back you can enter the Japanese garden that is zen and calming. Breakfast is fantastic! You can also feel good old socialist style of the building itself, with principles we don't have today. Spa is also top notch.

I had a wonderful stay, thank you! Everything was great, but I’d like to mention a few small things that could be better: * The Elevator: One of them was broken for about two days. It wasn't a big deal for me, but it was a bit tough for the older guests to get around. * Food: I really missed having fresh fruits and vegetables. They didn't seem very fresh or tasty, and for me, a juicy apple or a sweet plum is an essential part of a good breakfast! * The Spa: On some days, it was very loud because of groups of people who weren't actually staying at the hotel. It spoiled the quiet and relaxing atmosphere I was looking for. One thing that really concerned me was the hygiene in the spa. I noticed some outside visitors jumping straight into the cold plunge pool after the sauna without taking a shower first. It felt quite unpleasant to share a public pool with people who hadn't rinsed off their sweat. I believe there should be clearer rules or better supervision to keep the water clean for everyone. Thanks again for the hospitality, I really enjoyed my time here! Will definitely back with my mom:)
