What an incredible dining experience! This restaurant combines authentic Hungarian flavors with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The creamy mushroom pasta was perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor, the grilled pork was tender and juicy with delicious crispy fries, and the traditional beef stew with spaetzle was hearty, comforting, and absolutely delicious. A special thank you to Zoltán, who made our evening even better. He was genuinely friendly, attentive, and took the time to make us feel welcome. Service like his turns a great meal into a memorable experience. The cozy interior, generous portions, and excellent food make this a place we would recommend to anyone visiting Budapest. We will definitely be back on our next trip! Highly recommended.

Was looking for a local Hungarian food near the Buda castle and I am glad I found this local place highly recommended by the locals. Love its charm, and most of all its food and service. Ordered the beef goulash soup and unlike the stew version, the Hungarian’s goulash is more soupy but they full-filling at the same time - no pun intended. For those who can handle more heat, ask for their paprika paste (reminds me a lot of the Korean gochuchang). The combo of the soup with the extra paprika paste just gives added heat and kick! The duck leg was a delight! Very well done and delightful. Service by Tomas and team were very welcoming. Excellent vibes and I hope to be back !

Everything was unbelievably delicious. I had no idea the local cuisine could be this good the goulash, the duck leg, the white bread, the chicken fillet. We’d spent two weeks trying to find decent local food, and it turns out we were just looking in the wrong places. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic Hungarian food. And a special thanks to the waitstaff, they were incredibly attentive and genuinely caring.
