My mother (US Citizen) was here after a severe accident. She came via ambulance and received imaging and surgery. Her pain was not well managed. Nurses yelled at her and turned off her call button. She had water thrown in her face. Her ICU nurse fell asleep on the job. She was verbally told “I don’t like you.” And, “You Americans.” And “I don’t want to talk to you.” When she had to void after several days she was given a vomit basin, not a proper bed pan. And the nurse got irate when she made a mess. When she’d ask for pain meds they’d ignore her or turn their backs. She suffered a shattered pelvis and broken back. Many staff are very very kind. And many of these kind staff admitted to us what a bad place this hospital has become. But many (namely women) are wicked and hateful and have no business being in medicine. From the experience, my mother has PTSD and upon being medically evacuated home, the doctors here discovered the surgery done on her was sub par, metal rods and screws were improperly placed and the neurosurgeon in the U.S. used the word “ghastly” to describe the status of my mother’s surgery she received at this hospital. Nurses and doctors back home stated they’ve nev

My grandmother was admitted to this hospital with a broken femur. On Thursday, she was transferred to intensive care with pneumonia. There, her condition deteriorated due to the negligence of the nurses. They didn't even wait for the results of the bacterial culture. They gave up on her life. One of the nurses told my grandmother's daughter to give up on her. They only gave her a few days to recover, which is almost impossible with pneumonia.

This is the most horrible place, I asked the receptionist that I’m injured and I want to see a doctor, she slammed her food on the table and she was talking in Hungarians to her colleague ignoring me completely and then she was mad and screaming at me. I’m really shocked how they treat patients there, and if you tell them that you don’t speak Hungarians they get mad. How come this country is allowed to be part of the EU ?

I had an amazing experience in this hospital. The staff is highly trained, patient and precise even though they were always busy, I never felt their interactions with me rushed or surface. They provide excellent care. I am shocked by the people complaining here (for administrative stuff not speaking english and such..). This is a public hospital in Hungary. Instead of being entitled, I am just extremely grateful for the care they gave me and the professionalism I experienced. Even if the food isn’t the best (another comment that costed a star..) I would give the hospital 10/10.

It is the second time I visit the hospital in 2 years for minor accidents but I have to say that people working there are very very kind, attentive and the service is excellent. I am very grateful for the service
