What a great way to end our trip to Budapest! For our last night 🌃🌉 in the city 🏙️🌆, we chose Korbely. We ordered some main dishes with fried potatoes, paired with Kriek beer 🍺🍻. The meals were really good and the portions were very generous. Finding Kriek beer always makes me happy, so it was a great addition to the evening. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially the lady with the tattoo on her right arm, who was exceptionally charming. No reservation is needed as they have plenty of space for everyone. Thanks to the whole team!

Beef goulash soup and vegetable stew with sausage and sourdough bread were great, but the dessert blew us away. We had Gundel style pancake with walnut and chocolate sauce, it was so perfeclty balanced - amazing.

Food was definitely delicious. The atmosphere was calm, so we could talk and hear each other very well. The only thing I can say is that the service was a little bit slow, even though it wasn’t very crowded. Except for that, I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re walking through the area.

We were looking for somewhere that did good, traditional Hungarian food & this place was perfect for our first night in Budapest. We both ordered the Crispy pork knuckle which was amazing. Service was friendly & prompt, & although it was a quiet Monday night the restaurant still had a nice vibe to it. Well worth a visit.

We celebrated my father’s birthday here with a party of ~20 and the service was impeccable and smooth. Staff are nice and helpful so I highly recommend this restaurant for bigger groups. Foods are a hit or miss. My lecsó was more like a shakshuka and the eggs were overcooked. However, the bread was super fresh and delicious.
