the elderly man at the checkout was specifically rude to me. i asked if i could have a bag and he said they ran out of bags. but gave my white friend a bag when she asked, other customers too. i felt singled out due to my race possibly and very upset. strange experience, and very rude

One of the worst customer service experiences I have had anywhere in the world. The cashier was openly rude, hostile and clearly taking his bad mood out on customers. If he dislikes his job or needs to calm down, he should go home. Customers are not there to absorb his attitude. I will not return.

Stuff is great and place is also. Hungarian love is the best!

Christina Song 9 months ago

A store that perfectly captures Hungarian love: the owner yells at you, then smiles warmly at checkout and patiently helps you figure out which colour banknote equals which amount. It’s that quiet, confusing kind of love we’re all searching for. And here, in this grocery store you’ll find it
