A rather charming little monument and such a lovely find while wandering around Buda. The idea of the Prince of Buda and Princess of Pest looking towards one another is wonderfully romantic, and the peaceful surroundings make it all the more delightful. It’s not a grand attraction that takes ages to see, but that is rather part of its charm, a splendid little spot to pause, admire the scenery and take a few photographs. Very glad we came across it.

Hike about 25 minutes to reach the top and the views are amazing and the statue itself.

This was literally my favorite part of my trip into hungary.I think we went up about sixty eight stairs, and some of the road was absolutely janky, with the wooden blocks falling out of the ground, but once you got up to the top, and you realized the plaque was in braille, and the statue is less than two feet tall.It is just so funny and I have never laughed so hard.My son was literally like "we walked all the way up here for this!?" And I died, I thought it was great.

It is a small statue on top of the hill, small like very small. If you are reaching this spot after watching tik tok or reels then you are in for a surprise. The surrounding area is very calm - good spot for a picnic

Cute monument and great views, the surrounding park could be a little cleaner and well kept but still worth the walk. Really close to the philosopher statue and only a little walk away from the Citadel.
